That kind of intense publicity for Ford was a real name changer. Too bad OJ was riding a Pinto......

While that may be true, it's not my point. Bigger isn't always better.

Sometimes being small, nimble and simple is good.

That truck is going to cost 80,000 in short bed, single cab, with 4x2. It will also have a cassette stereo and floppy disk drive instead of USB port for mp3s....

    Those wages are ridiculously

There's no market for 2-door SUVs anymore (even the Wrangler depends on 4-door Unlimited sales to stay healthy). The Bronco will probably be a derivative of the Everest:

the magnitude of this comment is going unseen .. lol
good lawd I hope it's like the 2 door concept they had floating around early this year. Taco would be gone in lieu of it.

Rather go with the Colorado with the baby duramax in it... Decent off road package being sold with it in the z71 platform. crazy mpg and torque for days. I love diesel..[IMG]

You realize you posted a picture of a concept vehicle... the ZR2 is not coming to production and certainly not like that if it does. I agree with your other points about mileage and torque on the duramax, but don't expect it to look at a ll like what you just posted.

Because it's false. :p The Bronco (i.e. Ford's full-size SUV based on the F150) went on as the Expedition, which continues to be made.

I love the Everest, a 4Runner competitor with a possible 2.7turbo or 3.5turbo ecoboost gets me excited.

Ford builds the Ranger with or without external tie-downs depending on the country, as does Toyota with the Hilux. Here's a regular cab with a 7' bed and external tie-downs:

This model has a payload rating of over 2000 lb, though not by US standards (i.e. not accounting for braking ability, rollover risk, etc.)

No, it won't. Sadly, we might get a leather and electronics encrusted barge that shares it's name, but anything like that will never happen again. AC driving, not OJ?

ATO front skid (need more but icon's might fail if I hang anything else from my truck) All-Pro front bumper thanks to a good deal here and a pesky encounter with a rock or 20, total chaos uppers.
God forbid we have decent paying jobs in the US, much better for the country to have it built south of the border!! Cause Mercia!!

Well, hopefully the Australians work out the bugs in this vehicle before it is sold in the US... https://t.co/mPIXwU7FZn

I've always been a Ford fan and have owned 4 Rangers and 4 F150's...but if the new one looks like that up there on the front end...

From the A-pillar back however....that's sweet. But not as sweet as my driveway right now.
