yes the raptor is a great vehicle. i didnt say ford in general. even then, their turbo diesels last for decades.

I think it's a pretty cool truck. I also think that not having a truck payment is even cooler. Just got the title!:D

The 6.0 hauled my Tacoma across the country and back, including miles spent dragging it on a trailer up the race course at Primm after the Tacoma broke. 167,000 miles and not a single issue. Early ones had problems but they were worked out in the later models.

Broad generalizations just don't work. Every company has their hits and misses.

It's definately a badass truck and awesome that Ford is producing something that can go straight to the dunes or whatever you LT guys do, from the factory.

I would have no use for it because I prefer the slower and tighter trails in the woods. I guess it'd be a pretty badass tow rig :)

I think the Raptor is an overpriced, over weight, under powered piece of shit! And I haven't heard of a turbo deisel lasting for longer than a handful of years without needing some type of major repair

The Ridgeline took 1st place in Stock Mini in last year's Baja 1000. As much as I hate to admit it, it tells me they're not too far off.

They focus on quality ratings, not equipment levels. You said that Fords are junk, The quality ratings beg to differ. They draw opinions from a much larger group of people than your or I will ever encounter.

Ive noticed some people lucked out with the 6.0. I loved my 7.3 and that sucker was a beast. My fathers buddy had a 6.0 and the old 7.3 would pull way more. But were talking 3/4 and 1 tons not ford 1/2 tons. Ford has come along way but i think this truck is gimmicky. The fox shocks are probably cheap one ford has them build. kinda like trd billies. good ride quality but not the best offroading shocks from what i hear.
