Looks like they moved a lot of the rocks around and out of the way at @Fernando tree spot. Looks like tons of room now. It was a pretty good squeeze when we were there last

Zig, zag spot still tight, I bumped my door slightly. Missed a couple of other spots.
Deer Valley had obsticle after another, boulders in the middle of the road now.

Will post links up later from the other 2 that did good write ups.

I have heard that a good trail for near-stockers is the Drum-forebay-to-hwy-20 road (under the powerlines?). Anyone here run it?

    Wrecked!
Its mostly a fire road more fun when wet or a few inches of snow. There is a few hill climbs under the power lines. Good spot for fishing to.

How was Deer Valley? I'm going to be up there in a few weekends, it's been years since I last ran that trail.

Deer Valley was great, but it was also a very hard trail. Sliders are a must, there is just no way around it. Also, there are a few very tight spots where body damage could be possible. With the right line and a good spotter, you can avoid damage. This trail was relentless, though, and most difficult obstacles were made worse by the placement of a large rock in the middle of the trail with no line around as you can see in the sequence below.

To add to above comment, was more than 1 spot with large nuggets in the middle.
Also, depending on your tire size, along with sliders, undercarriage will be taking hits.
I didn't have AS many markings under mine as @rochmpr

Also to add, found this post for the same trail T4R. Posted 10/4/17

"Re Closed: You didn't hear this from me but while waiting in the staging area with a group of 10ish a sheriff deputy showed up and was totally into offroading himself. He chatted us up openly said it was closed but they're aren't patrolling it or anything so nobody is getting ticketed. We drove the whole thing".

Must be "closed" at the Eldorado/Stanislaus NF border. I think they're still in litigation or environmental review for all the trails in Eldorado NF.

    Sucks
