Did a few days to Mt Shasta and vicinity 2 weeks ago. Most FS roads were snowed shut, but we found a few that were accessible due to logging operations... and some of those roads were muuuuuddddddy! A couple of roads I thought were plowed all the way through and then the plowing stopped after 15-20 miles with just 1-2 miles to go before the next major road, so we did some backtracking. Didn't see a single other person except the guys logging. Spent 2 nights at the Dunsmuir RR Park sleeping in an old caboose. Fun times.

Oh, thanks. I'm weird. I like simple stuff. I peeled off the TX decals and the TRD tailgate emblem, traded the Borla for a stock exhaust, and ditched the fake beadlocks for steelies. Only really kept the upgraded TX suspension and of course the locker. Just another anonymous base Taco!

How far a have you gone at Dutch flats? I start at the very bottom by the dam and go a little ways back to the trails and hills. Is there and outlet anywhere if I were to keep goin?

Anyone head up to Kaiser Pass area around Mono Hot Springs? I have memories of all my cousins and friends in the back of an old Power Wagon going up to camp. Some amazing spots. Last week i made it up to Shaver Lake to show my Wife some spots i use to visit (on a small road trip) and i didnt see much snow at all. Now all i want to do is head up and explore like when i was a kid. Doris Lake is beautiful.
