He literally sold me the used 95.
    IMG_1466.jpg

He was pushy, but did it in a way that didn't bother me. He also took care of the BS the sales team was giving me, and at the time he owed the place, so I am sure that helped.

My wife and I were there last Columbus weekend. The guy was trying very, VERY hard to get us in one while we were there. We were simply "looking" at the time, but had I been alone, I likely would have had some splainin' to do when I drove home with a new one.

When I went to look at the 95, I got pissed at the sales team and was driving out of the lot when Ira came rushing out yelling to get me to stop. I was like who to hell is this. He introduced himself, we talked and walked back into the shop. While there he called my wife. I told him I needed to go home and talk to the wife. He said he understood and that was a good thing, but what's your phone number and you can call her. I was convinced enough to give him the number, he dialed and started talking to my wife on the phone, made me laugh. After I got off the phone, I told him my issues, he walked over to the sales guy told them what the new deal was, and I was done shortly after.

Good for you, man! I’m 53. I believe at this point in our lives, if we can afford nicer, get nicer! You will be surprised how quickly you get used to stuff that seemed somewhat unnecessary before. The proximity key is the cat’s pajamas! Put the key in your pocket in the morning, and take it out at night. Touch the door handle to unlock / lock, and push button start. Love it. Bluetooth audio is great if you have Spotify or Apple Music. All the little things add up to make owning a great truck even better!

    ENJOY!

you can post that you bought one of these fucking things and folks will genuinely get excited and congratulate you on your purchase! Strange, right?

I mean, I guess it happens on par in the Ferrari classic LeMans roadster forum.

But these are little girl trucks, aren't they?!? Why are they so great?

Congrats dude. You're going to love it. (ahem, shoulda got the manual...) Welcome to the loose but passionate association of diverse, perverse, and burn up the clutch in REverse Tacoma bruthas n sistas.

I was actually waiting for a manual OR in Quicksand to make it to the New England area. Last summer I drove an sr5 with the auto and HATED it. I actually told the dealer that there was something wrong with it. He replied with "they all do that now" and "they're getting 25 mpg with that truck. Anyways, last weekend I drove a TRD OR with the auto. While it still seemed a little "shifty" it didn't seem nearly as bad as the 17 SR5. At that point I decided to go with the auto. I had an 07 with the manual and loved my 13 auto. I really don't want to shift anymore so I'm happy with my decision.
