Form tail lights work but not doing start up sequence

    Installed some new form tail lights and everything seems to work perfect except no start up sequence Mabey I’m doing it wrong

    Same issue for me. But it seems to work if the headlights are "on" when I start up, rather than on "Auto." I don't get it....

    They only do the start up sequence if I have the lights in DRL off and switch them to auto or the 2 pictograms above auto. But I feel like as described in in multiple videos and descriptions of the product. It should come on when you “start up” the vehicle.

    Morimotos also have a start-up sequence -- I find that it would take a while for the DRL to turn on without doing anything at truck start up. The start-up sequence would only trigger when the DRL would come on but not the headlamps, i.e. during daytime. If the headlamps turn on as the truck turns on, i.e. during night time if auto headlight is enabled, then the start-up sequence would be overrode by headlights at on position.

    You can manually engage the start-up sequence on truck start by hitting the turn signals -- this would trigger the DRLs to come on, and also engage the start-up sequence.

    Same issue, startup sequence don’t work when on auto or if I do automatic start with key fob - I have a 2023 TRD Sport
