Whats up guys? Just got my 07 tacoma yesterday and love it so far. Traded in my 07 Jk wrangler for it. I loved the jeep. I did many modifications to it, grew attached to it but got sick of the little space and no room for things.

I like the tacomas for their mean looks, they are somewhat easy to customize and I think can take me anyplace the jeep could have but with more room, power, ability to tow, and 4 doors is awesome too.

I plan on painting my wheels black, adding a CAI and Exhaust. Maybe a small lift to fit 33's.

do they sell the hood scoops? or the hoods with the hood scoops? how much?

any advice on what to buy as far as first mods?

Also any links to good threads like Tacomas in beautiful places, Mudding, Snow driving, wheeling?

I want to see everyones tacoma

    heres mine

heres what i traded in for it

Dang that's a pretty nice Jeep and Welcome to TW from VA. It seems like alot of people on this site are using Billstein leveling struts for 2.5" of lift for the front with a set of AAL's on the back. Thats what I did anyway but now considering an RCD lift kit from Wheeler's Off Road. The skies the limit man....enjoy!

Nice Jeep & Tacoma. Welcome to the forum!

You gave up a solid axle for IFS?? Oh wait, did it have a Dana 44 under there?

You mentioned about wanting a 'small lift' to fit 33's?? :D What do you consider a small lift?

    Just kidding.....

lol the rear was a dana 44. No lockers. Front is a D30 it was the 2nd one since i bent my first axle.

Will 33's fit without rubbing with my stock suspension.

What do the tacomas come with better yet my tacoma lol. Its an 07 trd off road edition.

I just got sick of the jeep man. Ya it can do good offroad, but thats about it! You cant tow with it, no room in there, no truck bed.

    Im in Denver

I have a lot to learn about this tacoma!

I plan on blacking out the emblems, the wheels and tail lights.

That would be a - HELL NO!!

To fit 33's on a tacoma, you need more like 3" or more plus a combination of other things. Search around, you'll find out what you need to fit 33's.

I had a YJ for many years. Swapped Waggy 44's under it, ARB's. cage, the whole deal. Sold it last summer. Great fun!!

lol... Well I dont plan on a lift and tires for a while. But for now I want to black out all the emblems and tail lights. Get an intake and exhaust...

I am surprised how much power this Tacoma has!!!!! Its very fast, and you can tell it has a lot of torque. The power I really like. That was something the jeep was missing. No Balls at all

I have 33s with a 2" lift. Just get 255/85/16 instead of the more popular 285/75/16.
