    Hey folks,

I guess it's standard policy to start with one of these posts, eh?

Anyway, my first ever car that I owned (rather than using my parent's car) was a '98 Tacoma, single cab with the four popper, but at least it was a 4x4. I loved that thing and would spend my weekends in college finding trails back in Colorado to ride. I eventually sold it in '05 for something practical. In the eleven years since, I owned a '72 FJ40 as a project that never really got started.

Fast forward to last week when I picked up my new Tacoma fresh off the transport. It's an Inferno DCSB 4x4 TRD Sport, with pretty much all the fixin's. I've got a camper shell ordered, and will hopefully have it on by week's end, so that I can start using my truck for work. I probably won't do too much modification to start with, but in a year or two, after I move out of the country's most expensive city, I hope to start building her up modestly.

Any way, here she is as she arrived to me. Looks like every other stock truck, but I'm in love already.

And while I don't have any pics of the old Tacoma, here's the old rust bucket that I still miss every day.
