Well this was my 1st time taking it off road and it was fun what a great view !
Rock candy mountain was pretty cool I did get stuck after I might have accidently went up a atv trail
but, it gave me a chance to use my locker. After reversing because I picked the wrong route accidently slid off
the edge of the cliff edge lucky a dead stump stopped my rear axel.
I realized my rear passenger wheel was hanging off so began to dig my way out.
After my useless attempt of wedging a board under my tire I realize it was getting dark
so I began to walk down the mountain for a about 2 or 3 miles.
A truck passed and stopped them picked me up and we began to go up the hill to recover my truck :/
After pushing away at the wood under my axel I hooked up the strap and pop it snapped pieces all over.
Thank God my Dad gave me a nice tow chain that I kept in my truck for such occasions.
A good pull and I was out man I really need a winch or just people to go with it was awesome and I learned a lot.
Now Im just thinking when can I go again!

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Anyone know how the off-road area at JBLM is? I know there is a small area on McChord that has tracks in it near the pond... but I am not familiar enough with the base to go randomly drive through stuff. Same with Lewis.

Well last I checked the off road area was for atv and bikes on the Lewis side . I had a hard time locating places to go. As you can see I ventured off past Olympia and found some trails .

Not quite Lewis related but figured y'all would know...

Heading to Olympic this week and staying at JBLM on our last night for airport convenience. Any good local food/beer/breweries in the immediate area?

This is the most dead thread on the forum haha.
Day 0 in-processing for me. I've seen a couple tacos roaming around already.
