    You want to explore back roads? Google it and there is a motorcycle group out of Austin that has some great posts with maps for back roads all up and down the hill country.

    There's three roads called the "Three Sisters" which are supposed to be very fun roads. Not sure about driving them in a truck though.

    Dinosaur Valley State Park? I grew up in Glen Rose and there are no 4x4 trails there. Check out Bridgeport or Tolar if you want to do some off roading close to DFW.

    Three Sisters is a scenic route but mainly motorcycles go to it for the challenge/ near death ride.
