The my parents and I used for the last 20+ years just got out of the business. Shop around and get a few quotes. I got a stupid quote to trim my oaks and was floored when he said $1500 for 8 trees.
In just going to rent a powered pole saw for $100 and do it myself. Then use a friend's dump trailer to take the limbs to the dump.

You aren't paying for the work, you're paying for their insurance.

I pay enough for my health insurance so I figure I should use it.

Oh I have used my home owners over the last year. 2 roofs in exactly a year. At least my auto has not been needed lately.

    Thats home owners insurance.
The tree work I will be doing is the small hard to reach stuff. That is why a pole saw will be the tool of choice.

When you can do this, you don't need insurance anymore

We use Cititurf for our landscaping and they trimmed our 2 big trees in the front yard really well, and only charged $100 bucks to do it

So, uh, these are here now. Anyone want to have a mod day and give me a hand swapping mine over?

    I'll look em up, thanks!

I have the week of July 4th off. Glad to help if you haven't done the swap by then.
