    Yeah I usually only do skeet too, just because i shoot my rifles at the ranch, but ive shot my buddy's .44 out there a few times and everything seemed fine. but yeah im sure there are people there who have no clue what the hell they are doing:mad:

    I also avoid Alpine. Have witnessed two negligent discharges there. I shoot at TacPro in Mingus. It's a bit of a drive but well worth it. Pistol bay, shotgun bay, two 50 yd rifle/pistol/shotgun bays. 100 and 200 yd rifle and a 1000 yd range. Also have two towers for shooting from elevation. No range officers and you can work any drills (within reason) you want. Also, no limit on speed of fire, allow suppressors etc. No full auto unless taking private courses. No ammo restrictions either. BTW, I'm in SW Fort Worth (Benbrook) and love to shoot. Holler at me if anyone ever wants to go out there.

    It's about an hour west of Fort Worth off I-20 and Hwy 108. I believe it's exit 370 off I-20 and head south about 5 miles.

    Haven't been there. I like driving on the bank of Ray Hubbard. It makes it really easy to launch my kayak!

    I loved it. I'm totally hooked and really want to go back after I get my truck in a wheelable state

    Good plan. Haha. To get there, you head east on the GB service road and it makes a U-turn when it hits the lake. Just pop the curb and there is a trail that leads around to the left
