I ended up with the same brakes as you have Aaron. Just got them installed tonight and bedded in with their special procedure. So far I like them.

Bedding was pretty easy, the hardest part is finding a place to do it. It’s 5 hard stops from 40 to 10 mph in quick succession then 5 moderate stops from 35 to 5 mph in quick succession. That is all to get the brakes hot and then you’re supposed to drive at moderate speed for 5-10 minutes without stopping to cool the brakes back down. Instructions are in the box in case you forget.

Ok so they aren't exactly orange or red... but paint can and will solve that part. Now ill be honest that I've never used traction boards before, just never was in that situation where they were needed. However these things are stout as hell. That could be good and bad though... good if it needs to be a bridge but bad if I'm posted up on a rock and there is no give to it therefore breaking. The carry bag is well, cheap but will do its job until I get some neon colored 550 cord to make pull cords to tug them out of the mud. I'm thinking on drilling out some of the nubbs and getting the replacement ones from treds. Fingers crossed I never need them but hey, the truck will have more eaf points for sure.

Andy found out that when high centered on a rock that boards don’t help. Had to be winched still

Mine has worked every time it’s needed to. If I could do it over I’d deffinatly do synthetic rope.
