I haven't gotten all the parts I need yet- the t-harness doesn't arrive until next week. If I've planned correctly, I should only have to splice two wires. I'll let you all know how it goes. Also, don't buy the "brain" from Fortin, I got it a lot cheaper at Amazon.

My T-harness came in early so I got mine installed today. I only had to solder 4 connections: two from the red harness to the TPMS wire that gets cut, one to extend the wire for the hood switch (the wire attached to the Evo-One is really short), and I soldered the wire to the hood switch. Easy install took about two and a half hours. If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask!

That’s awesome, I have a guy who bought an evo one with toy5 harness from me the other day that might have questions regarding where to grab the tpms wire harness.

I know this thread is old. But I bought a remote start kit for my 2016 Taco, and Everything goes great until I turn they key, at which point nothing happens. It just keeps flashing nine times forever, not ten like it should.

Depends on where you buy from. If you specified hkey, most likely. If not you need a flasher.

Some places will flash it for you, but in most cases I believe you will need the flash kit.

Also, fortin doesn’t offer warranty or support on any items purchased from eBay or Amazon.

Yes, what issues are you having? Did you call the place of purchase?
