I missed it, too. I'm horribly offended now at the incredibly ingenious insult to the game that means nothing to my life.

 

Lol I just saw there is an Xbox Pub G thread. And I was just trying to stir up the fortnight players in here. To each their own, I am not hating at all.

Realm Royale Closed Beta coming to PS4 next week! I'm pretty excited about that.

Fortnite keeps nerfing the building, which is the staple that made that game, and it's ruining the game for me.

So I'm excited about Realm Royale.

What have thy done to nerf building besides llama nerf and farming nerf? I haven’t played in like a week.

 

so in this last patch they reduced wood/stone starting health, and wood finishing health. they also increased the time metal takes to build.

in previous patches they major buffed explosives and miniguns, added tommy gun and faster/larger clip smgs to take down structures.

the game is slowly turning into "spam explosives and high fire guns until you hit/kill them" and that's just not fun to me.

I enjoy out-playing someone. whether that be out-building them, or out-shooting them because we choose not to build. I just want to outsmart someone, and I can't do that with explosive/gun spams.

 

I completely agree with the explosive thing. I loved how I could block a rocket from breaking my whole structure by building a quick wall. Now, I get hit by a single rocket and my whole one-by-one go down which is super annoying when you’re in a final 2 situation. It’s basically impossible to ramp-rush or anything.

 

exactly. they are literally catering to folks that don't want to build.

 

However, I build a lot now which still feels weird to me.

 

woohoo! building is where it's at.

been listening to some streamers and such lately and they agree that building is being "nerfed" and that guns like the new smg are just too overpowered.

 

You and I experienced that last night. I don't think they will have a choice but to nerf that thing. It got the knock down power of a gold Scar with a fire rate twice as fast as a regular smg or tommy gun. Light ammo shouldn't have that kinda power period.

I've never played but I know that crap is hard. We piddle with h1z1 every now and then and its dang near impossible

 

It's a pain in the dick too be honest but it's so worth it! Only had 2 so far ever on solo.
