Battle Royale Games

I'm in the COD hater boat as well unless its a Treyarch game such are the Black Ops series. Even today they are still just good games. Infinite Warfare, WWII (which i didnt even play once) are lame. But i've always been drawing to the Black Ops series. BO4 is already on preorder, the BR mode is soooo fun. i'm excited!

 

I just watched folks play Blackout and it looked phenomenal. I understand being on the hater boat, I despised advanced warfare/infinite warfare/anything past MW2 besides BO2 lol

 

I'm buying Black Ops 4 today.

 

You along with 10 mill 12 year olds. I shall pass on the gimmicks. Holla when you get BF5

 

I don't think BF5 will be that great, sadly. The beta was a train wreck...and the BR of BO4 is what appeals to me. It looks amazing.

Trust me, I want BF5 to be better, but I don't see it happening at this point. The beta vs beta comparison was like Fortnite vs. PubG. One was great and runs perfect (Fortnite/BO4) the other was trash and looks like doodoo (PubG/BF5). lol

 

Yea I will agree that BO4 "looks" good. But, all COD's have become so gimmicky and gadgety that it just doesn't appeal to me. I think that's what burnt me on Fortnite as well. The baseline of the game is to shoot and kill the opposition, man vs man, aka player vs player. Not these gimmicks and crap that these games are going to. I do hope BF5 gets their shit together though because the BF franchise is 1000% better than COD. Realism is much more fun to "play" even if I have to sacrifice eye candy for it.

 

what do you see that is gimmicky and gadgety about Blackout? literally all I see in it is pvp shooting.

 

The stupid perks, the wild card system, score streaks.....all gimmicky and gadgety. PvP shooting should consist of a gun and its simple basic attachments...scopes, suppressors, etc.

 

the BR has none of that...

 

Blackout is the BO4 Battle Royale mode btw...

 

That's good, it shouldn't have that stupid crap. But that still wont change me spending 65 bucks on 1 part of the gameplay. With BF, the story and online play are worth spending the money on. Adding the Battle Royale aspect is just a bonus to me.

your logic is "spend 65$ on BF story and online play, with a potentially awful BR"

but not "spend 65$ on COD for a similar story, "gimmicky/gadgety" online play, and a proven amazing BR"

you just have some sort of hatred towards COD that's apparent lol. as I've told you I want both, but your hatred towards COD is disappointing with the AMAZING BR they have.

 

I’ll be picking up my copy of COD today after work! Although I still love fortnite, I am looking forward to change it up.

After playing cod for years. I think since 2008. I may enjoy playing fortnite better. I have a bigger group of friends playing. The maps and what not are always updating.

 

i use to love cod waw and then the first modern warfare's but hated black ops and new ones once they started flying around with jet packs and am thankful the new one is alot better, i was skeptical getting it until i played the beta deff a great game with multiplayer blackout and zombies there will always be something to do and unlike forknife they wont change the BR map but most likely add a second or more maps.

fornite was great while it lasted just hated build battles even tho i was pretty damn good at the game

 

COD Black Ops 4 is the jam! the Blackout mode is so addicting and i'm not even good. I'll admit i'm still in a more 'camper' style as opposed as a run n gun play style. My best yet is a second place finish with a couple 4-10 place finishes. Once I get better and know the weaponry better i'll go out on the offensive more. Still getting used to it all. But i HIGHLY recommend it. Very fun!

 

I agree I love it. have 2 quad wins so far, but no solo or duo. my best solo was a 2nd place with 6 kills.
