My son is playing the Beta version right now and loves it

 

yeah I simply play the free access version at the moment, it is supposed to be fully released for full gameplay in 2018 for free.

they just added an update with a bush costume and it's hysterical. I always hide in bushes during the game, but now you get to walk with it.

If crack were a video game, it would be fortnite. I downloaded it today and can't stop playing it.

I would man but I already have too many friends to play it as it is. Like its hard to say no when I want to play solos lol.

How you liking the game though?

 

I'm learning haha. Yesterday when they had 50v50 game mode was nice since there were other people to rely on, but playing in random squads against a group of friends is no bueno

 

Haha you're right. Learning the controls is most important you have got to be fast.

Not near as cartoon-y. Can't build shit which I am a fan of, if your getting shot, fight it out and win or die that way. Can use vehicles, and guns are more realistic and fun. But alas, the servers are shit so I play this. I enjoy this, simply because I enjoy the game play and how its played, I am just a fan of a more realistic looking game

 

I get that. I don't mind the cartoon-y, but I would like a realistic version. I do love the building aspect though, makes for crazy strategy and gameplay. If the fortnite map was larger I'd want vehicles, but it's small enough you don't need them.

 

Yea I agree, vehicles aren't really necessary on this like they are on PubG. PubG map is MASSIVE! So if you don't have a vehicle near, you wont make it out of the storm.

 

yeah the videos I've watched that map is huge. is it still 100 players?

 

Yes for now. I have heard rumor of them trying to get up to 150-200 in one game! That would be even more insane!

 

I feel like you'd need more though with that map size! I have some fortnite battles that I hardly run across people till end game so I'd imagine that big of a map you have that happen a lot. I like the fights lol, I don't want to lurk all game.
