I started to tear the front suspension off. Things went good at first. I ran into 2 problems. First problem was one of the Camber Bolts had to be beat out pretty good. The second was passenger side outer tie rod was seized up to the inner. I had to order new parts for both. image.jpgimage.jpg

Managed to get all of the old suspension out along with the CV's. I mocked up a few things so I can visualize it all. I started looking at where and what angle I'll mount the bump stops(A few guys in the LT thread answered my questions about that. Thanks to Anthony250f and FlapJack935 for the info and some pictures) where the brake lines will go, where do I want the zerks facing etc... I do plan on putting it all back together, cycling it all before I start tacking stuff on. I just like to visualize things so I can plan my next 20 moves. Got a long way to go but it's a start.

I think it might be. They guy I bought it from in AZ showed me a picture and the license plate said Juan 51 or something like that. I bought it from a user named outdoor AZ I think.

I don't think those spot welds are factory, mine had non on either fender.

I'm not sure. They sure seemed factory tho. The paint matched, appeared the same size as the rest. I'm by no means a expert. I just didn't expect them from what I researched.

I'm no expert either. Strange eh, I wouldn't have expected them either. I just replaced the front fenders on my '01 DC recently and didn't run into any welds.

Regardless, I am enjoying the work you're doing on your truck!
    Thanks for sharing

Got the cans mounted today. Took me all day. Started with cardboard templates. Cycle suspension. Tack mounts, cycle suspension, tack brackets, cycle suspension. Take suspension off to make room to weld. Damn I'm getting good and taking this off and putting it back on. image.jpgimage.jpg

Removed the factory cam tabs today.
On the rear 2 I used a Dremel with a cutting wheel on the welds. Then a air chisel to remove them. The rears came off easily.image.jpg image.jpg The fronts are a bit more difficult. It was tight in one spot and I was unable to get a drill straight on the spot welds.
    image.jpg
Welded up the TC cam tabs. I'll put them on tommorow. (Shitty photos)

Back to work tommorow. Got a few things done this week. Would have liked to have done more. Waiting for paint to dry kinda fucked me.
Some random pictures and my new welder I got myself for Xmas last week.

That last picture was before I welded them on. I was just mocking stuff up in that picture.

I have a paranoia with things not fitting or parts missing. I mock everything up like 2-3 times. Maybe it's OCD, not really sure.

I got the suspension put on tonight. I still have to torque everything up at ride height. Put the brake pads on and get the twist out of the brake line. Also have to mount the remote resi.
