So I sold the fox bump stops and the frame mounts at a loss :annoyed:
Decided to go thru the frame instead. So now I got these:D:

It has been on those all summer. They are the "heavy duty" pavers.

I Moved the perches forward 0.5"
Removed the rear cross member and tac'd in a temporary.
This is where it sits just as the springs look like they are about to go negative arch. Shitty picture but the center of axle is about 26.5-26.75" off the ground.

Thought I was sub'd here.

If you don't mind me asking how much money are you in on the tundra brakes? I like the Amazon kit but not a fan of red. What brake lines did you go with and did you have to modify the banjo bolt?

Tundra brake conversion....um I buy stuff and forget. Too painful to keep track of $$ spent
I got the calipers at Napa. Can't remember price. I think like $70 a piece after cores returned.
I ordered the brake lines from ICE performance. I think $150
At first I modified the banjo bolt to see if the calipers would work. After the calipers cleared my rims I put the tundra/4 runner hard lines on in place of the banjo bolt.
I got my rotors and pads on Amazon. I think they were like $200.

Preped the inside of the frame rails today. Scraped of the loose paint and found some rust. This was the worst spot, and a majority of the rust. image.jpg
I plan on painting it with this stuff.

Made up a template for some home made frame plates.
I was gonna weld the cardboard on, but figured the tape would be just as strong.
Break out my favorite toy (plasma cutter) tomorrow & cut off the factory strike plates, then cut the frame plates.
I was gonna cut some 1.75" holes in the frame plates, mainly because I already have a hole saw that size. Any suggestions on that idea???image.jpg
