It says that we didn't learn enough from our elders! We were spoiled by the greatest generation and thought (were sure) we knew it all. I hope the trend is ending and someone starts learning from the past.

I agree. Had three 1st gens, one 2nd Gen, 2nd & 3rd gen 4Runners, 2nd Gen Tundra without a lot of major issues. Out of all of them, my Tundra had the most which was minimal.

Speaking of gens, as usual, Gen x’ers are left out of the discussion entirely! The only truly drama free generation, equivalent to the third gen Tacoma I’d say…:crapstorm:

Lol, I didn't mean to exclude you! But you are right, no one picks on the Gen-Xers and that's a good thing.

PS: my smoking hot trophy wife is an early Gen-Xer. No drama there! :D

Owned Toyotas since the 80s, they all have been a pain in the ass one way or another. If it has breasticles or wheels it is gonna give a trouble! For some damn reason I keep buying them. Less of perceived pain in the ass compared to other brands, yeah? Meh, they are all crap. Lol! Always need some sort of tending to. You would think after all these years of manufactures building these gawd damn things, they could figure out them not needed bullshit repairs. I want 500,000 mile service intervals…could give two shits about the latest greatest testis warmers. Build a truck that I don’t have to fuck with for 20 years, I just want to get in and drive without much worry.

The vehicle that I had to fuss with the least was a ‘73 VW Bus, and when it did break is was laughably cheap and easy. Of course it was just a step above an old aircooled tractor…
