Found a killer deal on a truck! It sounds fishy though.

Looked at it and test drove it today. Rides and looks great. Only downside about it is that it has a few dents and scratches. I still like it though and plan on getting it. It's actually black and not gray.

:D It already has 20% tint too which is what I want. Haha. And wow, after driving it today, I love automatic so much better than my standard. So smooth

Yeah I figured it would be weird after only driving standards all my life but it's not bad. If I could just remember to put it in park. lol

I wouldn't worry about the few dents and scratches if they are minor. For the price you are getting it for, if the dents and scratches bother you just take it to a body shop and get them popped and buffed out. Even doing that you are still probably coming out on the better end with that deal on the truck.

Exactly. The one dent you can see in the 4th picture on the left rear door. It could be popped out though. The other dents aren't too bad. Plus the only other thing I don't like about it is that the tires rub when I turn it really sharp. Not too big of a deal, but I could always get new tires someday. Plus the tires are almost brand new and I might just have to put some miles on it and it will stop.

I mean, it does have quite a few scratches and couple dents. The tires rub. I like everything about the truck except those few things. Is it worth getting?

Any news? I've looked at that truck too. It's a short bed though, so no go for me.

Don't do it. You don't 'need' it, your current truck is very nice. I'm willing to bet you don't have a family (maybe you do...) so the back seats are not necessary yet. Your friends can squeeze into the access cab no problem, and if they're fat it'll give them motivation to lose weight.

Your sport has better suspension, seats, a limited slip diff, color matched trim, is more than capable of what you've needed thus far and will save you money. Either way you look at it, buying another truck will just cost more, and you're buying the exact same thing with 4 doors and an auto which is boring IMO. Yea yea it gets slightly better MPG but the 6 speed has more punch off the line.

I know your money, your decision, bla bla bla, but I say: Do not do it, it's a waste.

Wait, that's a good point. Why are you upgrading? It's basically the same truck. I'd wait at least until the 2013 is announced, though I doubt there's anything different on it from 2012.

And the one you just listed is an '06! It's gong to cost you several thou to upgrade. I'd take $2000 and put a lift and ARB on your truck and drive the crap out of it! It'll be like a brand new truck to you anyway, and it'll be cheaper than a model year upgrade.

Why do the tires rub? They're on the factory rims. What size are they?

$26,500 out the door, or plus tax title, etc? $26,500 OTD would be a smokin deal. I might need to take a trip to the bus to look for my new taco.

Zip code affects prices, and that's not a bad deal.

OP- Only reason I would see trading the truck for the same truck would be for a 4x4 option, but you'd REALLY have to want 4x4 and use it, otherwise it's waste.
