The other odd thing is, looking at the tread marks, it appears the truck was BACKED into that spot.

IDK, the whole thing seems very strange.

That's a common thing to do with stolen vehicles. They bring the vehicle somewhere deep in the forest then farm it for parts.

Anyway, reminds me of the old forgotten farm I found in the forest. 70s land cruiser and 84-88 olive green toyota pickup with no bed either

Would be cool if it was stolen, they couldn’t trace it back to anyone or anything and you got to claim it 45 days later....

    But that won’t happen. Lol

I would go get my buddy and his grandad's front end loader. Scoop that bitch up out of the pit, move tree trimmers dump off the trail for others. Carry that bitch back down that state road to the Ranch. Good times.

    Potential reasons it’s there:

    • Stolen
    • Drunk night of off-roading
    • CPS failure
    Goodyear Kevlar's suck
    • Didn’t have enough torque to get out of the rut
    • Isis is hiding it there while the rear .50 cal is getting mocked and mounted
    • Rear diff leak caused it to lock up
    • Rear drums seized
    • Vacuum pump built the day after cinco de mayo
    • Camping in RTT. Bear ate them, RTT and truck bed
    • The owner got bummed from reading negative 3rd GEN threads and left it in the woods
    • Couple took a quick walk and “went to town” after seeing @hiPSI , never returned

    • A guy let a friend borrow the truck and the friend got it stuck. The owner is headed out there today to recover the vehicle. (pending)

    ... more theories coming soon!

Don't forget the automatic transmission probably would not shift correctly. Oh and poor throttle response.

I've been thinking of that rear 50 cal mounting myself.

I just heard from the sheriffs office and they said....

A guy let a friend borrow the truck and the friend got it stuck. The owner is headed out there today to recover the vehicle.

With friends like that, who needs enemies?
