I love my AR's & have built 3 for roughly $600-$700... $1100 is a little on the high side, should be around $900. Attend some local gun shows & you'll fing much better deals. Good Luck!

First, they are not "Assault rifles". They are classified as "Sporting rifles".
Second, Criminals have them, so why shouldnt the general public? For that matter, read the second amendment.

    I'm with you Chris!
The only thing gun laws affect are the law abiding citizens. Criminals will ALWAYS be able to get guns..... So yeah, I will ALWAYS own one too!

Nothing is an assault weapon unless it is actively used to assault someone. So a sling shot can be considered an assault weapon if it is used to shoot at someone. I own an AR-15 Rifle.. it is not an assault rifle because I am not assaulting anyone with it... unless it's cruel to shoot and cans, targets, etc:rolleyes:

"Assault Rifle" is a name given by the liberal media. Its just something to make the public go " Those are BAD.....We need to get rid of them!!!"

Of all the weapons we have in our house, if something happens, and Im not home, the FIRST thing my Wife grabs is the AR. "Why? Its SCARRRRRYY"
    1. She knows how to use it, and is comfortable useing it
    2. She will kill anyone trying to cause harm to our familly
    3. Most of the home invasions out here have been attempted with dirt bags USEING body armor, and similar weapons.

Im not ever going to try and fight off an attacker, or burglar with a broom stick. If you break into my house, I garUntee, your gonna be BEGGING to leave...........

I have a Colt HBAR AR-15 with a muzzle suppressor, 1000 rounds of .223 ammunition (Isrealis brass reloads), 12 Magpul Polymer Magazines, canvas case. This rifle has only been fired 100 times (NRA match). There is also an aftermarket part that keeps the upper and lower receivers better mated (not sure what it is called). If I were to sell this gun and accessories privately (gun is unregistered as far as I know, at least not to me), can anyone tell me what it would be worth?

What's the name of that company if you don't mind?

I've had my AR since January and haven't purchased any ammo for it yet. Good thing I waited so it'd be really hard to find and even more expensive.

    Doctors
    (A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.
    (B) Accidental deaths caused by Physicians per year are 120,000.
    (C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171.

    Health and Human Services.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    Now think about this:
    Guns
    (A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000.
    (Yes, that's 80 million)
    (B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.
    (C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .000188.
    Statistics courtesy of FBI
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
    So, statistically, doctors are approximately
9,000 times more dangerous than gun owners.
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Remember, 'Guns don't kill people, doctors do..'
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT
ALMOST EVERYONE HAS AT LEAST ONE DOCTOR..
    >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.
We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!
