    Yeah, it was a bit out of date, and adding a couple of things over the next two weeks. Cleaning up hose routing and some wiring.

    I was thinking the same thing, once it's back up and running I'll have to hit up coffee and cars or a local meet. That picture is awesome, exactly how I feel when I get new stuff.

    I spoke to LCE this morning, the pistons I ordered aren't in stock so they will have be manufactured, 3-4 weeks wait time. If I'm lucky I'll have them by Christmas, but probably not. Did get some good news today though, found a set of APR Exhaust cam gears and they should be heading my way soon. Another mod to add to the list.

    Got my block back today, cylinders look beautiful, G&G did a great job. Inquired about a port & polish / +1mm over valve job, maybe in a few months once I recoup the costs of this round of repairs and upgrades.

    Ring land are the first piece to go. Rods just don't like the raised RPMs. Most people are fine, that can't raise their RPM limit.


    Cylinders look brand new. :thumbsup:

    How much boost do you run, if you don't mind me asking?

    Fuel pressure was getting up to 52PSI on that ride home, so around 8-8.5.

    Damn! How did i miss that last round of updates?!?!?! That is a huge reservoir. Between that new exchanger and that reservoir, that coolant should be able to take some long boost pulls and or higher boost, before becoming saturated.

    Being that your engine is about to be built, I have a hunch that those are both a strong possibility. :spy:

    I'm excited for you. I've been down the rebuild road many a time. It excites me every time all the pieces come together and I get the engine back in. Just went to Kozmic Motorsports yesterday, to get them some measurements for the torque plates, as well as figure out allowable clearances for crank journals. So mine should be finished being machined within the coming weeks as well.
