After 7 months of waiting, finally found this A.R.E. In Craigslist. Excellent shape, perfect color match, off of the same year.

    Love the Shell.
I have the same truck 11' sport edition. Looking for a shell myself.
How easy/ hard was install/ take off and put on? I take my bike to the track a few times a year, and throw large objects in from time to time. may not be worth it for a full time shell, but damn it looks good and would be great for camping

Thanks! Very easy to install. Took 2 of us, lighter than what I thought. Took maybe 10 minutes?? We sold our 4Runner so this is perfect timing. I'll be saving up to put a Yakima Rack for my kayak.

You guys have more patience than I did. I knew I'd probably be waiting and searching a long time to find a Pyrite Mica topper, so I just bit the bullet and bought a new one.

To the poster I quoted, post a pic when yours is painted. Both of your trucks look great with shells on them!

How much is the color match costing you?

I found a sweet Leer on a local site here for $700, but my body shop wants $500 to color match it so I haven't pulled the trigger.

It's going to cost me $410 for a color match. Most shops I called before I found this place wanted min $600 to do the job.

Picked up my Leer 100XQ for $500 on Craigslist a couple of years back. Had it repainted to match truck for $300. Total cost for a $2K plus shell that looked as good as new, $800.

Wish I would have put a cap on mine instead the top I have. I really miss the extra room. Still looking but not much luck finding a good used one.

What do we call your style of canopy that doesn't wrap down the sides of the bed 2". I prefer this to some of the newer sleeker type models.
