My brother once ran over a bungee cord. The metal hook on one end punctured the tire and the cord slinging around until he could get stopped did some paint damage around the wheel well.

Nothing unusual for me. The usual nails, screws etc..

Pulled a arrow head out of my ex wife's tire years ago. That was an interesting find. It was legit like them old Indian arrow heads made of stone. o_O

Wheel weights, the clamp on type can go through a tire.

I was going to my uncles house back in the early 90's with a truck with 33's on it and had to go down part of a gravel road, heard air start coming out of my left rear tire and turns out it was a Craftsman punch about 7" long that went in my tire. Ruined my tire but at least I got to keep the punch.

Also forgot to add that Discount Tire is the best. They had the tire in less than 24 hrs, I could price it online, and it was the cheapest around. And when I went in I knew I was going be a pain cause I wanted the spare to be moved to a rim and that used tire to the spare as well as the one new tire I bought. So like 3 tires mounted and balanced. At this time I'm not sure what my job looks like in the future with this virus so I only bought one new tire and moved the spare which is new to have two new rear tires. They didn't have any issue doing this tire dance for me and it was completely free. Unreal service. I will 100% go back to get two more tires from them when this thing settles down. It's out of my way to go there, but they went out of their way for me. A+

I got a spark plug stuck in my tire once. It could have been from my own truck as I dropped one into the bowels of the engine while changing them a few weeks prior.

As an auto mechanic, I once saw what looked to be the tip of a galvanized nail sticking out of a flat tire. With my dikes, I started to pull. 18 inches later, it was a car antenna; not a bend in it. I shit you not.

I had a big pair of scissors snap off the handles after punching through a tire.

Decades ago while borrowing my brother's '88 Maxima while my ride was broke (can't remember why) I hit an inner tie rod in the weirdest way possible. No idea how but it punctured the sidewall, threaded itself back out of the sidewall, and wedged itself against the rim.

Shame it was the days before cell phone cameras because that was photo-worthy.

The tire shop guys hung that one on the wall.

AA battery in my old Explorer. Lined up perfectly with the treads and pushed its way through the tire. This well before cell phone cameras though so no pics.

Some years back, 1984 Nissan 4x4, I got a tire full of mud. Somehow the tire didn't actually go flat until the day after I was playing in the mud. The tire shop I took it to cleaned the rim and tire, remounted and balanced it, and it was back on the road.
