Sorry fellas....just now seeing this post.

Got them here...all you can do is call and ask to see if they have them.

hey i got a question about these... does anyone with a first gen have them? i wanna know if its necessary to buy a cetain type of spacers to fit these on a 1st gen. something having to do with the whole lug/hub centric deal. i dont exactly understand all that. i do remember a buddy here in the 757 having trouble with some 2nd gen taco wheels on his 1st gen so thats why i ask.

These wheels have 4.5" backspacing, which is the same as the stock wheels on the 1st gens, so you would be fine if you are only running 265s.

Nothing beats the FJ wheels. Worth the money when / if you can get your hands on them.

I asked about the *71 ones and this was the response...

Those are on backorder but I can get them. It will take at least 10 days to get them here. They are $180 each and shipping on a set of 4 is usually $130.

Got a response from a dealer on why the FJ wheels aren't available anymore:

"Unfortunately, Toyota has discontinued the TRD Wheels you have ordered, due to unresolved quality control issues. There may be a replacement available at a future date, however no information has been made available as to when."

It seems the issues people reported about balance issues may have been the wheel itself. Some people got good ones, but for Toyota there were too many issues. Hopefully they do replace the faulty design as this is one great looking wheel.

I remember reading the balancing issues were the TRD "Beadlock" wheels, but I could be wrong. I didn't have any issues when mine were balanced.
