    Looks like this thread is getting updated less and less lately, but I've stayed up on email updates for the past four years and I'm hoping there's still some life left here to help me.

    I sold my 97 4Runner in 2011, and the day I shipped it off to it's new owner it looked like this

    Unfortunately, the truck was totaled by its current owner a few weeks back and was sent these the day after

    I spent three years regretting my decision to sell, and I finally decided to start all over and build the exact same truck. So, this morning I picked this up this lady

    And the work is already underway. Over the next few weeks I am going to be compiling the parts that made my last truck what it was, and when I've got the majority we're going to have a lift party and transform it in one weekend. Admittedly the single hardest part of this endeavor is going to be finding those Anthracite wheels, which is why I just wrote this novel for you all.

    Long story short, if you know of any authentic sets of these for sale please let me know.

    I have a 06 TRD double cab taco it came stock with 17s and I was thinking about ordering a set of 16 trd rims and was wondering if there was any difference in the breaks between the base models with 16 inch rims and the TRDs with 17 inch rims or if the 17s was just part of the TRD package

    If you go to a local dealership they should be able to order them for you. $170 w/ tax comes out to about $185 each.

    I ordered mine a few weeks back and they said they had limited but quite a few sets left in the warehouse.

    I used to work at a local dealership, so I called my buddy in parts today and he looked up the part #.

    He said that it had special instructions that he would have to email GST/Houston for permission to buy them.

    Not sure why so much crap with these. They are nice looking. I should have bought them when they first came out and I could have got them at my work for $132 each. Eight years later and you can't even get them.

    I was hesitant to make this post until I touched my new wheels. Well, today that happened!

    Here are the steps I took to obtain my new, from factory, TRD FJ SE Anthracite wheels.........

    1: search part number pt904-35071.
    2: Pick a dealer with 4 wheels available and add them to my cart.
    3: Pay for my order (not expensive) and receive a confirmation# and shipping information.
    4: Open and inspect my beautiful, hard to get, TRD Anthracite wheels! ;)
