My thoughts are exactly what someone has done and now, after finding out not what they expected are looking to recoup what they can...then spend again...pass for me.

My statement is closer to the truth than most will admit. There is few if any “right buyers” who will pay more for a modded truck than a virgin truck. I didn’t make this reality, but we all must face it.

Maybe he will fall in love with his MT after ADM and 2wd Low mod?

I dont know, i love this MT. I spent 4 hrs driving through mountain passes yesterday and it felt great. Double clutch rev match downshifts are fun.

The real question is, why the red rims?

I can spend a whole lot less making my own problems instead of buying someone elses.

It’s not even close to reality. Where what you said fits is when you have a vehicle whose owner has rednecked their mods, like light bars drilled straight into the roof with non-stainless hardware type rednecked.

Mods don’t add hardly any value to most people but with anything there is a bell curve. Again I’ve seen plenty of modded out Toyota’s fetch above stock market value. What matters is things are done right, and not over-stylized. IE you don’t have a rats nest of wire in the engine bay like exhibit A.

Something tells me he doesn't drive it enough to learn that.

MT in the mountains is just sublime, its almost hard to describe. You've got lots of great ones out there too.

Oh buddy, it would take months just to explore all the mountain passes in my area, its great!

My 4.0 ranger struggled a bit at higher speeds, was only a 5spd too. This taco just wants to keep on going, love it. The sport suspension adds to the fun for sure.

    1.) WAY over in price.
2.) All electrical mods are tapped straight off the battery.
3.) Too great of a chance for FUBAR mods.
4.) Service or repair would be a nightmare at best.
5.) The red bow on the front is a nice touch......
6.) For that level of $$$, buy a new rig off a dealer lot. 2020s will be pushing out as the 2021s roll into the dealers.

Oh I know. I came down from the Yukon through Lillooett and then down to Vancouver via 99 a couple years ago in the taco. Even with just a 4 cylinder there's plenty of fun to be had - especially off the paved roads. And so much scenery! Yall have so much public land its disgusting

    Nice! Thats a fun drive!

Yeah its pretty spaced out unless you are in lower mainland area. My wife actually commented on that while we were driving, its like you got your own little mountain to live on, haha! Beautiful views man, the drive never gets boring.

I doubt he's ever used those ARB lockers. Yikes... his wife should have told him no a lot earlier.

All that money and you would still have to add raptor lights to be cool.

To a certain extent, you are right. However, the pool of purchasers [you know, people interested and actually have money...] just got a whole lot smaller and banks and CU's and any other lenders tend to not care if add on's actually increase worth and tend to look at it more as a pass thru or worth less.
