We aren't talkin about a first gen. Someone said that the 6inch lift only has abt 9.5 inches of ground clearance, which isn't true. I just measured, and with 33s im at just over 11.5 inches. If i still had my 35s i wuld be at abt 12.5 inches, which is half an inch less than than the previous pic of the 3inch lift. I understand that if you are goin for pure off road ability, than perhaps a 3 inch kit with 33s is fine. But don't tell me i will get hung up running the trails that i run because i have a stock ground clearance when I know good and well I don't.

6" lift is one thing, at least you get better approach and departure angles. 6" top plate spacer lift on the other hand...

I wasn't going to say anything... but I couldn't control myself.

It just boils down to what kind of truck guy you are. As for the way I see it, you're either an off-roading enthusiast or, like me, you're a poser that only really wants/needs a street truck.

This truck is SWEET looking (emphasis on the "looking"). I wish I had a lift like that on my taco, however, I don't ever do any real off-roading. Sadly, it's only once every few months that my truck sees anything other than concrete or asphalt, and then it's just a dirt or gravel road.

Hopefully, we can all appreciate what this truck is meant for... just for looking sweet next to minivans at the grocery store. Cheers!

Probably a dealer built truck. My local dealer builds some nice FJs and have also done some tasteful Tundras and Tacomas but they do jack the hell out of the aftermarket parts as would be expected from a dealer.
