    Trying to update this build of mine... :rolleyes:

    I cleaned up the OP a bit and i think what I'll do is take the same approach as my friend Torspd and just add as I see fit! :D

    Here is the latest project pieces:

    Since going with the CBI HC rear bumper the Stock shackle hangers are now really exposed...

    Above is their replacements - The ATO shackle flip paired with a set of serviceable stock length Defined Engineering Shackles.

    Also purchased some time ago were these fiberglass tail light "filler" pieces for the void left by the hybrid rear.

    The fit & finish leaves quite a bit to be desired and i can understand why allpro would not want to sell these... As you can see I have to get the filler out to try & smooth them out.

    I still need to cut them down quite a bit to fit correctly - I'll be painting them BSP along with the sleeper lids & lower lids from Toyota Man. :D

    As a tribute to how you got started with Yotas I think a custom Satoshi grill for my 93 is in order ;)

    I came at these the other way, bought a couple 2nd gens, drove a few first gens looking for a more suitable project, and fell in love with a pre tacoma. . . Honestly, the new one is pretty much obsolete these days, I said the 93 would be a project but it's all I ever drive :D

    So I had a bit of time today to cut down the tail light filler pieces & test fit them...

    This is what it currently looks like.

    The fit & finish on theses is terrible!

    As you can see the passenger side piece is not even close to the stock body line gap.

    Fortunately I don't think it will be too noticeable on my black truck. Any lighter color would show to much I believe...

    I was considering painting them myself but I got a faulty can of BSP (209) from www.paintscratch.com :(

    I was spraying a coat on my sleeper lids and the can was dripping paint everywhere! :mad:

    They are shipping me a replacement but that will take over a week. I'll just have the paint shop for the grills coat them out for me at this point...

    The issue is I've got a BIG trip planned to MT end of August.

    yeah i saw somewhere where lisa had you in the books for one of their meets. that sounds like it will be fun. but you really should see what you can make happen for october. as stated, my trucks not tuff enough for the trails, but i went out to one of the meets a while back and rode, had a blast. it's real purdy in that neck of NC. really well organized and put together park that is.

    I was able to install the taillight pieces today...

    I'm happy that the spot is now finished but I'm still not thrilled with the overall fit & finish.

    I'll be taking them off and having the shop color match them along with my eyelids.
