I had my truck loaded with 25- 60lbs bags of concrete mix. While backing my truck up a fairly steep grassy hill I stalled the engine because I was trying to go too slow and didn't have the engine revs high enough. I tried to restart the engine but it just spun over but wouldn't start. I took it out of four wheel and coasted back down the hill and tried again and it started right up. Any thoughts on why this happened?

maybe your fly wheel wasnt stopped all the way. i think when the fly wheel is still spinning, your teeth on the starter move also. imo. im sure there is a term for it.
