    Hi all,

I just purchased some Fox 2.0 Coilovers for a wicked deal.

Right out of the box it comes set at 7cm (2 3/8in)
I’m going to be renting a spring compressor to adjust the collar by hand.

    I have a few questions.

    • What measurement should I compensate on the drivers side to make it side specific?(As I know the driver side has the fuel tank, battery, and driver. So it will sag naturally there. )

    • Also how many turns = lift height (ish)?
    • I plan on installing a winch and a hidden bumper/chin bumper. How can I pre-accommodate for that?

    07 Taco DCLB
    Part no: 985-02-002

    Additional weight currently:
    Total: approx 320lbs
    Rock sliders = 140lbs (both)
    TRD skid plate = 30lbs
    Cat shield = 10lbs.
    Roof rack = 60lbs
General crap in bed = 80lbs.

    Estimated future add ons.
    Winch
    Chin bumper
    Approx 150lbs??

I’m at 20in today with my old shocks. Before I added the slider I had 21 1/2in.

I don't know the number of turns offhand, but the lift adjustment amount will always be a 2:1 ratio.
So if you want to adjust your height by 1", adjust the collar up or down 0.5".
For 1½", it'll be 0.75" of adjustment, and so on.

The rest will have to be by trial-&-error unless you can find someone else who has your exact same setup.

    Thanks.
    I figured it’s going to be T&E.

Can I use the finger spring compressor or does it really need that entire bench press style spring compressor?

If they've never been installed, throw them on a few weeks to cycle them and let them settle. You can adjust them on the truck if you jack the front end and use compressors to ease the tension on the landings.

Get your baseline and adjust from there. You'll likely end up with 1/8" to 1/4" more thread on the driver side to compensate for the Taco lean. Take your measurements from the center of the hub to the fender to take tire compression out of the measurements.
