    Hi TW!

Just wondering how many are running the Fox 2.0's up front and what actual lift was achieved on your 3rd gen without adjustment? At this time upper arms are not on the list and will not be until the stock stuff needs replacing. So yes I know I need to be under 2 inches to be safe.

Not looking for suggestions of buy this or that instead, I have no need for anything fancier! On my last Tacoma I had OME and would not run their standard front stuff again, but the Dakars out back for sure.

My reason for this specific coil over is i ran them on my F150 reg cab 4x4 and loved them for my use. Also pricing, being in Canada I can get this from a place that has them in stock for the same price I paid 4yrs ago for the F150.

I do not want to have to get into adjusting things, I have no shop, tools, and am dealing with a shoulder problem again (F*CK!) so paying a shop to mess around is not an option.

I've got em on my truck!

Front is something like 1-2 inches.

    Rear is 3 inches easy.

You attained three inches of lift from a strut? Sure you didn’t adjust your leaf pack?

Thanks for the reply. 1-2 is a large range! So sadly that doesn’t help :-(. The rear is not related to the shocks, shocks don’t provide ride height.

@mac360 do it!! Then let us all know what you get! If I had that sweet option I would buy them along with control arms for sure

Guy is double checking the part numbers now. But from what I’m finding the 05-15 and 16-18 are the same numbers so. I gotta think they are the same. Fingers crossed.

On my second gen, I got about 1.5-1.75" of lift in the front with the Fox 2.0 coilovers. Pretty much the perfect amount to level the truck without lifting the rear. Keep in mind, rear shocks wont lift the rear of the truck.

Thanks for your input. If I got 1.5 on my 3rd gen that would be perfect. I emailed fox to see what they have to say. I pointed out to them they use the same part for 2 generations of the truck that come with a slightly different factory ride height in the front.

How well did the front align with your 2.0s? Could you do the famous hub to fender measurement? That would maybe suggest whether is is closer to 1 or 2 inches. Thanks!

So from the edge of the wheel (rim) to the top of the fender?

I just installed these pro shocks on the rear of my truck. The back clearly lifted. The rack is more pronounced now. My old stock shocks only had 25k.

Def looks right the way it is sitting! Ppl usually take the measurement from the centre of the hub to the fender, i always found that left a bit of room for error and like the idea of taking it from the edge of the rim also. Are your rims 16's or 17's? What size of tire - 265 or 285? That might have an impact also sue to the measuring tape having to contour around the wider tire when measuring from the rim. I plan to run the wild peak at3 in mellow little 265's on the stock TRD 16's to keep my mileage nice, just waiting on their arrival. which length fox rears are those? 2-3 inch or 3.5-5 inch they look nice and long. Thanks!!

Honestly, I wasn't sure if the 3.5-5 would fit... :boink:

I am curious to the collapsed and extended length of those shocks, I will look into it. I was thinking of running the extended bilsteins in the rear, they’re nice and long at 27 inches extended but do require a change to the bump stops and likely brake line adjustment.
Maybe you could take the front measurements both ways?
