Move the resi up to where it doesn’t contact the axle. You’re good. The lines are designed to handle 30+ degree angles. Bend them up bruh, you’re good. No stressing. Only thing is make sure you don’t twist them when mounting Aka Don’t twist the hose structure... put everything on without tightening the resi collar... slide it up with hoses about 30 degrees... tighten... and go get in a ditch to flex to see if it contacts.

My 2.0 resi blew out after 4months - 5000km/3100miles. Will definitely not be buying fox again.

Anyone regretting their Fox 2.0s? I was settled on the new Eibach 2.0s but they are tough to get so I'm looking hard at the Fox 2.0 frt and rear w non adjustable resis. My prioritity is smooth quality ride on road and just using the preset 2" lift w an Icon AAL.

No complaints on mine. My truck rides like a Lexus and I wheel the S outta it! Sounds like a solid plan, just crank up the driver’s side a bit if you want her dead level.

How many miles do you have yours now and do you still think the CD is worth the extra cheddar?

I have ~40k on them. Jumps, crawling (re-wired the 4wd Ecu so I can lock everything as needed), pulling the mirrors back to get between trees, etc. Used and relatively abused. Suspension holding up solidly. I’m beyond happy that they have held up so well. I really have no idea why the one guy had such a bad experience. I’ve talked with Fox multiple times and customer service is impeccable... granted, that was before the corona crap so I have no idea where it is now. All I know is what I have stated in this thread. If I’m not 110% positive about something, I’ll be the first to tell you.

cd adjusters are worth it if you tow. I just stiffen it up when pulling; otherwise, I leave the rear nice and soft. I don’t have experience with the non-cd’s so I can’t make a definite answer. Frankly, if you want to mess with it, it’s awesome. In saying that, the only reason to have resi’s is increased oil capacity to battle fade. If you are not running bumpy roads at speed, you should be fine without the resi’s. The rear shocks take more of a beating than the front.

ok, just finished reading all the pages but I don't think I found my answer. SO here it is

For those Gen3 folks who have replaced their rear spring packs I have some q's

    1. What spring pack did you get. I am looking at ICON RTX at 1 or 2 OR Deavers at 2. Allpro standard is in the mix as well
    2. What Rear 2.0 did you get? I have seen some who have-117 and other who have -118. Wheelers updated me today that their Allpro standards use -118 for correct length.

Great thread, thanks for everyones input

Thanks Chaz... I want that Lexus ride. Just order Fox 2.0s w rear resi from shocksurplus. Anyone looking , there is an additional 5% off w the code "SHOCKD". I had a tough time not getting 6112/5160s but I've done bills in the past and wanted to try give those sexy Foxes a try. I'll be going w an Icon progressive AAL and will adj COs for a slight fwd rake.

I have a second gen with a wedge camper but here ya go...

    1. Icon RXT stage 3.
    2. -118 as I'm sitting at about 2.5" of lift most of the time.

I'm very happy with this setup.

There is a pretty significant change from 2.0 to 2.5 and seeing as you are in my neck of the woods......skip the KINGS. Their cold weather performance and cold weather durability is poor.

2.0 on the left and 2.5 on the right.

OP. Thank you for the great write up and the on going up dates! A couple quick questions. Do you know how much each turn of the calor raises or lowers? Also on the rear shocks. Do you know or anyone know if you have to change out the bushings on the non resi rear shocks? Thank you in advance!

I can’t tell you the exact amount of height per turn, but I was looking for a straight 2” of lift on the front. I went 3 turns up on the driver side and 1 turn down to level the front and I was still 1/2” lower on the driver side. FWIW the center of wheel to fender was 22.75” on the driver side front and 23.25” on the passenger side front. From what I read, the rear bushings no longer require a change and that was true for me, but I did use the non-adj. rear resi.
