I installed fox 2.0 coilovers on my 3rd gen and only got 3/4” lift out of the box. Now I’m taking them back off to adjust the preload for some more lift. I’m looking for ~1.5 “total” of lift out of these. Does anyone has some measurements or how many turns is equal to an inch of lift? I have 2-3/4” from the bottom thread to the bottom of adjustment ring, Im told that is how they come from fox. “~2” for 2nd gen ~1” for 3rd gen”

It's about a 1:2 ratio so if you're looking for another 3/4" lift, turn the collar down another 3/8".

The 2.0 have the adjust ring at the bottom but I’m guessing the 1:2 ratio is the same.

Yeah, that’s applicable to Tacoma’s in general due to the motion ratio of where the coilovers are on the lower control arm.

Yes it did work out, 4 turns is about 1/2 lift if I remember. The issue I had was the more preload I put on them the harsher the ride. Ended up moving to 2.5’s.
