you have to get the fox spanner wrench or icon or whoever as im sure they are all slightly different. i had a couple spanner wrenches from other projects and they do not fit my fox setup. so friendly advice of the day is to get one when you order your setup.

Emulsions eh? Can't go wrong with Fox shocks. My 2.0 RR rears and air bumps have been great to me even with all the wheeling I do. I live in California away from the coast, so rust isn't a big issue, but depending where you live, you might want to wash the body off of the shocks every once in a while with soap and water and apply a nice wax coating on them to ensure they don't gather surface rust.

I wish I would had known about waxing them sooner. Unfortunately, mine already have some surface rust forming on them, though I'm sure some time sanding and applying wax would make it go away.

    Pre and post heights?

Curious what lift height exactly this provided?

Seems not many folks give the Fox a go. I've used them on several other trucks and the ride has always been decent indeed.

I believe so but you would have to call and ask them just to be sure.

The problem is that even if you lift 2" or so on even a new truck, for whatever reason, the original factory ride height specs are never that of what they originally should be. Most of the time, the amount of sag is just through the roof. I know my front and rear ride heights were on my 2012 with less then 20K. :O

As far as decent ride goes. I love their ride on my rear end (no homosexual please) haha.

just a quick update. i installed the icon AAL and it really brought the truck to 100%. the ride is incredible and did some light offroad and i couldnt be happier. with the fox setup you get a level truck. i wanted the factory rake back after the kit install so went with the AAL and got a bit of rake back, it improved the rear ride quality substantially.

I hope you retained your factory overload spring under the leaf pack?

I told you that you would be happy with the ride. I'm glad you like it bud. Now get back out there and hit the dirt!

Got TSB springs, 1" block, Resi shocks, and bags. I can tow at over 80 mph.

Looks nice, but you should really ditch those blocks Mully and put in a 1" AAL. Those blocks can increase your axle wrap as you tow, which is not safe.

Towed my Jeep from CA to MOAB and back with no problems.
Still going to replace the springs now that the holidays are about to end.
    Thanks for the advice.

nope i actually ditched the factory OL. i did a bit of research on this and know i will lose some towing/hauling but should reap some good rewards. this isnt the single AAL but the 3 leaf AAL pack so i think im good. happy with the results so far.

As long as you knew what you were doing and knew the consequences of it. That's all that matters!

do you think the OL needs to be installed? i thought the consensus was its ok to leave the OL out and you will get slightly better action from the rear end you just have to be careful with carry and towing since you dont have that to protect against negative arc anymore?
