Sorry to revive an old thread but this is one of a few I've been reading that really have me thinking about going with the FOX 2.0 coilovers front and 2.0 IFP rear. Seems to be a good balance between price and performance.

@15bluetaco, I'm looking to get about 1.5" lift overall. Looks this is no problem to get dialed in with the front coilovers.

For the rear, I already have the Icon 3-leaf AAL sitting in my garage. From everything I've read, the Icon AAL provides a 1.5" lift IF the overload leaf is removed (2" if it's not removed).
So I plan to remove my factory overload leaf for 1.5" lift but if I'm reading correctly you first installed the Fox 2.0 IFP rear shocks (Fox p/n: 980-24-670?) and then later installed the Icon AAL with overload removed for a 1.5" lift.

But the Fox 2.0 IFP rear shocks are only rated for 0" - 1" lift per the Fox website.
Was this recommended to you and "install at your discretion" or did you get confirmation from somewhere/someone that this would work with no issues?

How has the ride been since? Any sagging or leaking issues (particularly from the rear shocks)?

I had the same exact rear set up (2.0 fox W/ Icon 1.5 AAL) I liked it but I recently upgraded to the OME Dakar full leaf packs (kept the fox 2.0 in) only due to my specific needs. however I did end up leaving the factory overload leaf in when I had the Icons. Overall it was nice set up a little firm with no load. Add in 200 lbs and it rode like butter. If you can I would suggest the Dakar packs from @HeadStrong Off-Road and with the dakars you can remove a leaf for less lift.

Did you have to drill holes for the bumpstop?

No but I had to grind off the rivets retaining the bumpstop striker which sucked.

That is what I thought, really like the bumpstop.

Just bumping in hopes to see more pictures. Will be installing Fox 2.0's once the Chicago weather decides it wants to be warm and stay warm.

Right now, just coils and shocks because I just wanted to level it. Hoping I'm happy with it and hope everything works out. If not, then I will probably add UCA's and add a leaf.

Chas or anyone with the 2.0s. I wanted to adjust my preload today and this is the spanner that I was sent but it doesn't seem to fit on the bottom ring to adjust! Is this the wrong spanner? When I place it on the ring it's keeps slipping. image.jpg

Are you trying to adjust it on the truck?

yeah from what most people are saying, all i need to do is take the tires off and lift the truck so its at full droop. Then I can just loosen the set screw and turn it, but this spanner obviously doesn't even fit my collar. I thick it fits the older style ones that Mully has.
If I have to keep removing this coilover each time to make adjustments that would just be ridiculous. I'm sure theres a way to adjust these while on the truck.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but you will be required to remove them from your truck each time you wish to adjust them. Doing so on your truck will ruin your shocks.

I dont think most cars or trucks require that. Isn't that the purpose of adjustable coilovers to be able to adjust them on the car for convenience? If you look at most youtube vids, most of them just use two spanners. the 2.0s in this case only has 1 collar.
Its probably safer to remove them, but shouldnt be a must.

IFP 2.0's are aluminum bodies and most certainly shouldn't be adjusted on the truck. Sure you can force it and possibly ruin the threads on the body if you choose to. It's already been confirmed by more than one technician from Fox when I tried to adjust mine. Anyone with the earlier steel bodied Foxes can adjust them on the truck.

Well then if thats the case i'm very disappointed in my purchase. The sales rep at truck fest told me they were adjustable while still on the truck. So each time i have to check adjustments I have to spend 2-3 hours for each adjustment removing all the parts. Horrible design then and might need to return them.

Yes I was equally disappointed as well. I also mentioned to more than one associate at Fox that they should've made a note for their aluminum bodied 2.0s a) so we can make an informed purchase b) so that owners don't permanently ruin their shocks
