FOX IFP front 2nd clip 1/2" spacer, FOX 2.0 adjustable resi rear, RXT leaf pack, SSO slimline front w/ baricade 9500lb and amber light bar, ARE Cap, allpro steps, TRD pro style wheels w/ Kenda Klevar skins
Removed and disassembled factory bilsteins. pain bc coil compressor to fat to fit between coil. modified to fit, but you should plan on a shop with a press if you chose to go this route. then assembled the FOX 2.0s with factory coils and top hats at top most position based on their website saying 2" at top setting. lots of preload on the spring, lots.

First of all their little booklet lies. the snap ring locations being 0'' 1" and 2" is only if you use their coils and top hats. factory coils and top hats gave me about 4" of lift. damn near at full droop with weight on the tires, components near maxed out. When I jacked under the LCA to compress the suspension to tighten the cam bolts it only lifted 1" then the whole truck lifted. uhh ohh.
at this point I was out of time and had to drive to work the next morning (today) so buttoned everything up and test drove. stiff as shit and so much preload the coil rockets back to full extension with every bump. Going to snap something. going to take back apart and put on lowest setting ASAP.

These shocks do not work well with factory 3rd gen coils and top hats despite their website and Fox reps saying they would. I was trying to save $ bc these are a hold over until I get the 2.0 resi coilovers on. Dont do it, buy the plug and play units. They are 2x the cost but 1/10th the headache.

Will update with how it goes on lowest setting.

update 1: lowest setting is mushy garbage. same as my factory 60k OR bilsteins. and they sit slightly lower than stock now. Also there is an audible shock topping out sound with any rapid bumps, like washboard, bc these srpings outperform the shock.
going to leave it a few days cause im tired but prob try step 2 bc Id really like to level a bit more with the ICON RXT pack on stage 2 in the back.
I think some softer springs off an older 2nd gen could lessen the topping clunk and be less problematic at the other snap ring settings.

update 2: with the factory coils on lowest snap ring setting and the leaf pack in the back I rub at full stop on the factory skid plate. Tire actually grabbed it and bent it down. had to bend it back and further to avoid repeat. this weekend its up to middle setting.

update 3: middle setting feels like 5100s. better than stock, but no better than the 5100s I had on my tundra. could be better with softer springs but save the money and get 5100s, or spend the money and go full upgrade.
