I'm not worried at all tbh. They told be 11-27. If that day comes and I don't have shocks I'll take it from there. For now I'm being patient.

Well, I got my first order - 1 set of front and rears about 3 weeks ago. I have a UPS tracking number that says my 2nd set of fox 2.0 front and rears will be here in Monday.

I am sure your orders will be filled.

Half price 2.0’s.. I’m sure Fox was a little pissed with wheelwells, not only for the jump in orders but undercutting their other vendors that badley

I think that Wheelwell is a lot more unhappy at the loss.

Like 12 years ago we looked into enrolling in one of these vendor programs and depending on how much you order, the discounts where pretty heavy. I’m sure they arnt loosing anything!

Just pissing off everyone else who only has a 25-40% discount on msrp lol

I don't see that as an excuse. I mean after all, isn't that what fox is in business to do? They aren't a mom and pop operation. I say that after contacting Fox and getting a basic "I don't know" answer. This isn't 1973 where they would have a stack of orders sitting on a desk and have to walk out to the shop during a smoke break. If I hadn't got such a great deal, I would be furious, but 4 months for what are essentially off the shelf parts is still irritating. No way I would suggest to anyone going with Fox over Bils simply because of the amount of time if price is close to the same.

Supposedly every order is made to order. To control quality.

I heard the same. I really don't understand that argument because they are just shocks. It isn't like a custom tailored suit. They use the same shock on a multitude of different fitments and they are a $500m company. I think the could invest in a little mass production and overhead.

They're going to staff based on the average order flow and it makes no sense to hire more people for a busy time if they are well above that average. They might be busy and lead times in this industry are entirely normal.

Shocks are simple and utilize shared parts but they way Fox and King do shocks, every order might as well be custom. It isn't some dude building 100x 2.5 Tacoma rear shocks in a row - they have the order in front of them and they assemble it with the appropriate bodies, shafts, and valving. Your problem wasn't a Fox factory fuck-up so you likely got stuck in the back of the queue.

With the deal you guys got the lead time shouldn't be an issue. You bought them cheaper than most dealers can. Sometimes that's the price you pay.

I think there's only one person with an issue. The rest of us are patiently waiting. I don't wanna cause any disturbance, I'm trying to fly as quietly under the radar as possible haha.

I think you are missing my point. I am concerned not concerned about the wait, I'm concerned about not getting them at all. I only have so long before I can file a dispute and would rather know now that I am not getting them than wait patiently as you suggest only to find out that there is no Santa and my money is gone. Assume you haven't noticed that you no long can order Fox shocks from them? Still think I should be sitting patiently waiting for the UPS man?

IF they screw us on the money, I recommend a TacomaWorld Group field trip to their headquarters.

Update- They came thru with flying colors.
