Thank you for your real world experience. I agree that for myself (and probably a lot of others) 2.5 really isn't necessary. How do these compare to stock? IMO the Bilstein/OME combo ride pretty much like stock, so if these are better, you may have sold me. I'm thinking pairing these with some wheelers superbumps will be the ultimate bang for your buck performance set up.

its been 4 years since ive had them on and people comment the truck ride pretty nice for how much weight ive got thrown on it. I think the weight makes the shocks ride a bit better but thats subjective.

ive never had anything other than these and stock but i know 2 others who run these shocks who can chime in.

I was so relieved that you were still active even though the thread is 4 years old. This is the kind of feedback I love to hear! Thanks so much for answering my questions.

I get a little air born with the ifps fully armored and 35s and blow up some fire roads on a mild crank to compensate for weight. Good handling absorbs bumps, not much jolt on impact compared to like a bilstein of OME and I love it's got a shaft mounted bump stop for an extra piece of mind. I'd like to get a heavier coil but I'll probably just switch to a 2.5. The only issue is I wish I went with the 2.5s. It's still an amazing coilover for the price.

Thanks for the input! If they can withstand that, they'll fit my needs just fine.

Read this write up first. The bushings don't fit unless modified. I didn't trim enough off the bushing on initial install and wore out the bushing and then I had insane camber causing my tires to wear out prematurely (kind of a blessing in disguise because it allowed me to get 35s sooner than anticipated) but I got new bushings and trimmed enough and now I have zero issues.

Everyone on the forum will tell you they're garbage and just save your money but I couldn't find anyone with actual experience with them who said that. The 4runner guys trust them more than light racings because that slotted nut that gives you adjustability likes to slip. I'm running them and have been thrilled with them. No issues outside of the bushing wearing out. Check my build for more pics
