Fox 2.0 shocks for budget off road racing build?

Idk why this is so complicated for some of you forum lurkers. You don’t need to overthink everything. I want go quick on road with sand and rock. I’m thinking of getting fox 2.0 coil overs and shocks, in the hopes of levelling the front, and providing a bit better ride quality, and less rattle off road. I’m not tryna win a baja here. I’m not expecting the performance of a race truck. I’m expecting the performance of a simple shock upgrade, with a price tag under 1500$. Some of you are clearly out of touch. My advice from a zoomer that grew up with the internet. Get off the forums, and clear ur brain.

 

I will look into used 2.5’s. Appreciate the response.

 

That’s the most common medicine we pass out for these afflictions. I think the 5100’s make sense if you want an ability to adjust ride height, but I’m skeptical they improve ride quality appreciably especially during daily driving.

Get some billies and call it a day. Your oem suspension will out perform fox 2.0's in my opinion.

 

I came here asking for opinions on fox 2.0’s vs Bilstein 6112’s. I got a bunch of retired old heads who can’t read, telling me to spend more money than I said I had, and others saying a budget aftermarket suspension upgrade is worse than stock bilstein 4600’s. Are Yall like high or something?

Finally an actual opinion on my original post. If 2.0s are that bad should I just go for even cheaper 5100’s? Or if I go for the 1200-1500 price range should I just get 6112’s?
