Hello, anyone running fox 2.5 coilovers with factory valving? If so how do they work for you and your setup? Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Yes. I have the 2.5 with DSC. No extra weight up front. 4 extra turns on driver side. Passenger side is as they came. I think they are a little on the firm side. I was able to soften them up a little using the DSC. A custom valving would probably be beneficial.

I'm running factory valving and no additional preload, 2.5 extended travel up front and 2.0 remote reservoir in the back. Extra weight (winch, stingray bumper, skid, bolt on sliders with fill plates), and a shell with 100lbs of gear. Sway bar removed. Light racing UCA. Dakars with the 3rd leaf removed. 265/75/16 load range C.

I think it rides great on and off road.

    Might not apply, but....
I recently helped a co-worker/friend install some 2.5 DSC on his 3rd gen with removed sway bar as well. No extra weight except a tool box in his back seat of his DCLB. We kept cranked it up to be level with his Deaver J66 pack. When we test drove it around town and it rode really well hitting the same dips and bumps we hit everyday(we installed them in one of our parking lots at work lol). I wouldn't change the valving it felt perfect. He took it out the desert and was amazed on how well they soaked up the bumps/rocks fast and slow. He didn't even touch the DSC nob yet.

@stickyTaco looks good! Same kit from @HeadStrong Off-Road I'm looking at purchasing. Out of curiosity what ended up being the limiting factor in your ifs droop?Shock? Or other suspension components?

Not sure what the limiting factor is for droop up front. I didn't cycle the suspension with the shock removed to see if it was more or the same than with them installed.

IDK if this'll help you any but mine drooped to 23.5 w/stock spring, shock & UCA installed. Drooped to 25.5" w/ no spring, shock or UCA installed. Essentially it gained 2" w/all stock hardware removed.

I’m running 2.5 DSC in factory settings with Deaver U402 stage 1. I’m happy with the ride. It is most definitely firmer than stock.
