I would like to increase the preload on my coilovers to raise my truck from 2 to 3 inch above stock height. The springs are the original which I think are the Eibach 600 lbs. It's a 2:1 ratio so I will have have to turn the adjusting collar until I get 0.5 inches of travel. It's outside of the 0 to 2 inch range specified for these coilovers but anyone have done this and see an issue on compression when offroading lightly? If so maybe I'll just go with 2.5 inch of lift. BTW do I need to replace the brake line with longer ones?

Probably going to need a 14” 650#, or a 13” 650-700# depending on the weight up front. 600# is light (like 100lbs light) on a stock 13” coil. (I run eibach 14” 700’s)

if you preload it’s going to F**k up your ball joints and CVs…and shake the shit out of your passenger

the sweet spot in real lift height is 1.5-2”

Mahalo for the response. Anyone has thoughts? I vaguely someone actually got 3 inch of lift. Called Fox yesterday and the person said it was okay. Yeah I've read these sale guys from Fox are not consistent with their responses when asking questikns on the preload.
