Just finished installing my BRAND new fox coilovers and took the truck for a 1 Mile trip and the hydraulic fitting coming out of the shock body is leaking! Is this normal?

Also the sway bar drop blocks that were included had 17mm bolts that bolt the block to the frame. Those bolts sit in a recessed part of the block but you can't fit a socket in the recessed part of the block! Tried a thin wall socket and it wouldn't work either. Had to use needle nose pliers to tighten the bolt, but there's no way to torque it down. Any else encounter this?

By chance do you remember if it was a 17mm socket?

I wouldn’t call that a leak. It could be the assembly grease they put on the o-rings during assembly. That grease will start to solidify when heated up.

Is there a a puddle of oil anywhere?

Looks like grease from assembly... as it heats up it will weep a bit... if you clean it up it shouldn't come back unless it is actually leaking. But if in doubt just put a wrench on it and snug it up if needed. My sockets also fit that bolt fine, maybe find a thinner socket... my garbage freight socket fits.

Huh I was only given 17mm bolts. Threaded right in no problem so I didn't think anything of it.

No Puddle, I don't think its anything too serious, just a small amount of oil around the fitting. Looks to be static in size, so probably just grease.

Sounds like it. Wipe it off and keep an eye on it. If you notice a drip line then I’d be concerned.
