    **SOLD**

Just removed my 2.5 extended coil overs with 58,000 Florida highway miles. These saw a dirt road once in their life. They have 600lb springs and ride incredible. I’ve been extremely happy with them; night and day compared to previous OME, Radflow, and Toytec setups. Comes with everything needed for a rebuild, including genuine Fox oil and the needle valve nitrogen tool. Very light surface corrosion, easily removed with a wire a brush, as shown in the picture.

    $450 plus shipping from Miami.

How do these compare to 885's with 5100s?

Jross20, there is no comparison, but that’s subject to different folk’s opinion and tolerance. I have experienced the OME/5100 combo, pretty harsh/stiff until you get a LOT of weight up front. Good product, but the shocks are not specifically valved for our truck’s weight. OME and bilstien are best for heavy steel bumpers with a winch. I still have 5100 on the back of my Tacoma, 200-300lb of bagged sand is what it takes to mellow them out. The OME 885 is actually not a bad spring; at 15” long and a rate of 590lb there’s potential for a good lift without much preload. The problem is good, daily driving shock options. If you look at Toytec’s bilstien coilover, it’s basically a threaded 5100 shock body with an Eibach 14” 600lb spring. I used those for 30k miles....worst thing I ever put on my vehicle. This is why I went with Fox and now King; 14” long 600lb coils on correctly valved shocks. It’s truly amazing what a difference valving makes.
