Hey guys, so I have wheels that are gonna be at my house tomorrow, and I want to get them on asap with new tires, 255/80/17, and I am in the process of figuring out what I can afford and what logistically makes sense. I can probably afford fox 2.5's, but the problem is that right now I wouldn't be able to spend another extra $1000 on aftermarket uca's and a new leaf pack. I know that within the next year I will be able to afford the uca's and leaf pack and go to 3 inches of lift. I dont want to have to buy coilovers twice, so my question is, if I buy the extended travel versions and crank them down to 2 inches of lift or less, will I run the risk of damaging something? Thanks for any help.

Nope. If you stay at or below 2" of lift you'll be fine with stock control arms
