    Hello people,

Still a noob to the Tacoma family and would like some help. Well kinda...have had my Tacoma for over a year now but who’s counting haha... So I just put fox 2.5 extended travel coil overs on my 08 DCLB and feel like the front is sagging bad from the weight of the bumper and winch. I just had the coils rebuilt and valved a month ago.

I have a steel front bumper which weighs 168lbs and smittybilt winch that weights close to 100lbs (give or take).

From the research I’ve done I see that I need to get a stiffer spring. 650 or 700lb. I'm having a hard time finding replacement springs or websites to go to find the correct ones.

would like some help please, greatly appreciate it!

not sure on the exact weight, but i do see 700 thrown around a lot for plated bumpers. as far as websites, you can contact coilover mfg directly, they sell coils. also try kartek, summit, ebay, Amazon, downsouth motorsports, eibach.

Look for 14” 650lb springs, unless you’re running full skids also. If so, 14” 700lb springs. Lots of places sell them but King and Eibach are the 2 big names.

Cool! Thank you for the response Gf Ron both of you. I have just been getting so much conflicting info on around the forum about what to do.
