Planning on upgrading my stock suspension to either the 2.5 fox performance elites or the 2.5 fox factory performance series. I’m leaning towards the elites because I’ve heard good things about them but the factory series are almost a grand cheaper. Anyone know if there’s any real difference between the two? Is it worth it to spend the extra grand?

It depends on what and how frequently you use your truck for.

You can also use the search engine to gain some insight.

Went with older performance fox 2.0 as its was on sale, don’t need reservoir’s, nor off-road frequently enough, and most importantly it’s a work truck first and a pleasure truck on occasion.

I did the “tuned” 2.5’s and thought it was a huge waste of money.

I don't think there is a shock absorber in the universe for the stock taco suspension worth more than $100 each ( even in todays economy where they start at around $200 each)
there is only so much damping they can do within that 4" of travel
