Quick question, I’ve had my driver side fox 2.5 DSC C/O rebuilt twice now at outlaw off-road. The first time the coilover was dumping out oil, had them rebuilt and now there appears to be a small leak (just enough to wet the bottom of the shock body). After posting about this last time I brought it to Outlaw and they said this was just residual oil. My question is should I have them rebuilt a third time or just buy a new set of coilovers as this is getting frustrating. Thanks y’all.

They've been rebuilt 2x now and still leaking? Approx how many miles on them?

Residual oil can definitely be the case if they were not cleaned very well when put back together. If its still leaking, and a good amount there is either something very wrong, or rebuild was not done very well. We are in Carson if you want to have someone else take a look at it. You should NOT need to replace the entire shock.

Initially they had 30k miles on them and then started leaking so I had them rebuilt, then they immediately started spraying oil so I had them rebuilt a second time. Then after the second rebuild I noticed the bottom of the shock body became wet with a small amount of oil, I’ve cleaned it off several time and it keeps coming back. It’s not nearly as bad as the first time there is no oil dripping down to the lower control arm. I think I messaged you guys about them, I’d have to remove the coilover and bring it in to you guys right? Or would you guys be able to remove the coilover and rebuild it? Thanks

Sounds like you should have a pro check out your shock. Bet you @AccuTune Offroad can find the issue without even breaking into the shock.

Do you have any pitting on the shaft?
